I make pictures of abstract light.
Using specialized software that I design and develop, I draw colors, shapes and motions of pure light.
In 1975, I studied with sculptor Robert Mallary, one of the first artists to write computer programs to design and produce works of art. I found that programming visual art felt very much like composing music.
My early 1980s computer art and animation was exhibited, published and broadcast in the US, Europe, Japan and Mexico. For thirty years, I designed and developed graphics and animation software in Silicon Valley.
I'm pleased to share some of my recent images with you and to make them available as high quality prints.
